"Spirited and truly charming"-Chicago theatre review
Soprano Rachael Long has captivated a wide range of audiences from intimate coffee shops to the Auditorium Theatre.
This season, Long competed in the finals of American Opera Idol with Opera Connecticut, performed the role of Micaela for Boheme Opera New Jersey’s Carmen, and had the honor of joining the roster of featured artists with Liberty City Arts.
She has performed with the Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra as the Soprano Soloist for Handel's Messiah, Susanna (Il segreto di Susanna) with Evanston Chamber Opera and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), and Serafina (cover-Il campanello) with New Moon Opera. Other roles include Nedda (Pagliacci), Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Corinna and Delia (Il Viaggio a Reims) and La dame in Poulenc’s La dame de Monte Carlo.
