"Spirited and truly charming"-Chicago theatre review
This season, Soprano Rachael Long returned to to the Philadelphia Fringe Festival to perform Kevin Puts’ The Brightness of Light with Liberty City Arts. Other highlights include Pamina (The Magic Flute), Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi) and Mrs. Gobineau (The Medium) with Art City Opera and performing as a guest artist in a Recital of Women Composers at Rowan University. This season she’ll return to the Wondrous World of Opera with ePOP and make her company debut as Della in The Gift of the Magi with the Delaware Valley Opera Company.
She has performed with Boheme Opera NJ as Micaëla (Carmen), the North Shore Choral Society as the Soprano Soloist for Vivaldi's Gloria, the Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra as the Soprano Soloist for Handel's Messiah, Susanna (Il segreto di Susanna) with Evanston Chamber Opera and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), and Serafina (cover-Il campanello) with New Moon Opera. Other roles include Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Nedda (Pagliacci), Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Lucia/Lucia II/Leonora (covers-The Long Christmas Dinner), Corinna and Delia (Il Viaggio a Reims) and La dame in Poulenc’s La dame de Monte Carlo
